With 19 years of experience managing global and well-known South African brands, I’ve built a reputation for transforming marketing functions into high-performing, commercially savvy engines that deliver real results. 

I’ve led multi-million-rand portfolios, executed high-impact omnichannel campaigns targeted to upper income and lower income audiences, and successfully launched over 15 innovations that have shaped category trends.  On one of my most beloved brands, I played a key role within the cross-functional team, helping to double the brand’s revenue (achieving 100% growth) over a 10-year period, while maintaining its market leadership throughout. Whether it’s refining brand positioning, driving e-commerce growth, or leading teams to their next level of success, my approach is always strategic, results-driven, and customer-focused. 

Having worked across industries and markets, in corporate and agency environments, I thrive in fast-paced, complex environments where agility and data-driven decision-making are key.   • Natasha has mastered one of the toughest negotiations - getting her kids to eat their vegetables! This daily challenge has sharpened her skills in persuasion, understanding her audience, and crafting the perfect "value proposition".

Responsible for leading a specialized portfolio in the business and managing the brand team in the execution of the brand strategies and campaigns to achieve market shares, sales, profit and marketing objectives.  

Key responsibilities included developing robust omni-channel campaigns with a focus on digital channels such as SEO, social media, paid search, display ads, programmatic/digital creative optimisation, and e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth. Oversaw portfolio management and product innovation, leading innovations from concept to market launch. Executed ongoing analysis of data and the competitor environment as well as market research to direct strategies.  

 

Pfizer Consumer Healthcare 

Marketing Manager 

Core member of the SA leadership team with full marketing responsibility for the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare brand portfolio in South Africa. Drove the strategic direction of brands and ensured alignment with local and global objectives.  

Core responsibilities included managing brand P&Ls and marketing budgets, developing and implementing innovation strategies, sales forecasting, pricing and merchandising strategies. The role also involved mentoring and developing brand managers, managing contracts and relationships with advertising agencies and external suppliers, and collaborating with the sales team to provide effective tools and training. 

DraftFCB  

Account Manager  

Brand custodian for financial and healthcare accounts within the advertising agency. Effectively managed and implemented the integrated marketing communication requirements of Clients that spanned across Above-The-Line and Below-The-Line channels. Provided input into the communication and media strategies, ensuring they met specific communication objectives and maintained brand consistency. Conducted frequent competitor monitoring and analyses to ensure brand strategies remained relevant and aligned to current market trends.
